The
foundation stone of the college was laid on 20th April 1973 by
Honourable Uma Shankar Dikshit in the name of Indira College. On 14 January 1980,
the college was taken over by the Govt. of Haryana and named as Govt. College
Dubaldhan. It is a single faculty co-educational institute affiliated to M.D.
University, Rohtak. It is 08 KM away from Beri tehsil on Rohtak-Siwana road.
The absolute location of the college is 28.691863°N and 76.482256°E. The
college is going to complete its 50 years of establishment this year with
promise to provide quality education to the residents of remote rural areas
like Dubaldhan, Majra, Bigowa, Chimni, Siwana, Dharana etc. Total area of the
college is about 70 acres and built up area is 2850 M square. The numbers of
students in the college are around 500. The College has well equipped computer
labs, Geography labs and spacious library having more than 13000 books and
library hall with a seating capacity of 200 persons. The college is playing an
important role in disseminating education to rural area students especially
girl students.
